I have an older wda rev a that I needed all of these things to get to work. Note, changing any power settings can affect windows fast start. In reply to A. Hi there, unfortunately I tried both windows 8 and 7 there was no windows 10 and neither made any apparent change to how it was installing. No issues! The device will only work if the driver matches the country you are in so you need that driver. The win8 driver should work, for my wda I had to use a vista driver.
